is there a way to get rid of my satellites? I was just curious because i don't really need them, but they're there to be crashed if i get attacked lol

The only way to get rid of them is to get them destroyed. If you dont want to use their energy then you can go into the resource settings ( the symbol next to the resources tab) and turn the energy production for them to zero.

True but satilites are very annoying when you are attacked as you lose all the energy as i found out the hard way lol

Not at all... They are only annoying if you are reliant on the energy you get from them... It is your own fault if you do not have a solar plant up and running instead;) Also... if you have a decent lvl shipyard and nanite factory it will take about 10 minutes to build a couple thousand of them again... Not a big problem...
