I've been playin on and off for a while now
but now im back and i cant wait to actually start raiding again. I was thinking of tryin to turtle this time around but i feel like that just takes forever and cuts out a lot of the excitement of raidin but thats just me.

About turtling, I tried that couple years back, it was my exam time and I didnt have much time to send 10 raids every 3 hours. Tbh with you it started feeling like a lot of work already. But completely agree with you, if you dont do it it feels super slow.. Also a little heads up, when I got to about the gauss cannon stage before I could build much some guy started attacking me with bombers.. I quit after that..

I think the best way to go about turtling is to get a distant colony and build up around there. Systems 5-9 somewhere.. Btw I can send you resources to kick start if you like? Just ask if you need any, and Ill get you some when I have spare. I can give you 20-30k metal and 10k crystal now if u'ld like.

haha if i had a dollar for every chris i met i wouldn't need a job. it seems way to common.
as far as res any you got would help out a huge deal, im hoping to at least get my first espi probes up and running tonight.
something i probably should have realized earlier is that this is a uk forum, so im guessing you guys are in the uk, me on the other hand im on the east coast of the USA.

Funnily enough neither of us are really British. Well I am, but we both went to an international school in Norway so we are quite American-ised, if you want to call it that lol. As for Poseidon, he isn't even of British nationality, although he does live in the UK now.
And yeah our sleeping patterns at the moment are very messed up lol

looks like its gonna be morning and afternoon raids, which i honestly like better because it makes it easy to catch west coast player sleeping after their fleets come back.
