| I'm looking around the whole "Code of Conduct" type area for this game.
Is there rules for attacking other planets, probing, trading, etc?
If not really official rules, but "untold codes among thieves" type dealios?

| you can get in trouble for attacking the same planet/moon 6 times in one day. its known as bashing one rule (one that we were actually just talking about) that is more rude than anything else is that if someone is attacking you and you come online in time to spend all the res and move your ships ( making the attack unprofitable/ pointless) then it is courtesy to message them and tell them your online. 90% of the time they will recall their ships, and your defenses will be saved. | |

| Pushing is the tricky rule, you may not receive resources from a weaker player. That means if a weaker player attacks you and gets their fleet destroyed, u may not keep the debris field. Be careful as some players will use this rule to get you banned, if they are experienced and low on morals. If someone randomly gives you resources, contact a GO and return resources to the closest GO planet. | |

| Ok... now I'm confused... so.... if player Y is attacking player X, and player X gets online before Y's fleet gets to X to attack and moves his whole fleet, that's rude without messaging?
I guess that makes sense...
Also, I don't quite understand the pushing rule.... you can't take a weaker player's debris field because they lost their attacking fleet?
And what's wrong with receiving resources?

| well the main reason you should message the person is because if the attack goes through, it will waste the attackers time (since he can recall at any time and ideally use the fleet somewhere else) destroy the defenders defenses and not really create any good profit, so since nobody benefits its best to just cut off the attack and let both parties move on. - Quote :

its only wrong if its a weaker, lower level player giving res to a higher level player. The reason its against the rules is because if it wasn't than stronger players could bully the weaker ones into giving them tributes and such.

oh ok.... ya, that makes tons of sense, cause of all the time it takes to travel.... took like 10 hours for me to send my friend some metal lol, 5 there, 5 back - Kinkyfriedman wrote:

so it's about abuse? So assuming people are trading like me and some friends, that's ok? Random hand outs are illegal?

| if the weaker player receives adequate payment with the trade rates of 3:2:1 its not a breech of the rules | |

| I'm still getting to terms with some of the rules, social and game myself. Are there any more easier to break ones other than bashing, pushing and multi accounts? And also, are the any more big social ones other than the notifying someone if you're online? | |
