| Checked out the forum after a bit of messaging with Kinkyfriedman in Draco. It looks like a fine place to be a member of! Still trying to find my feet a bit but i'll help out where i can. There is always the added bonus of 2500 dark matter on completing the tutorial | |

| Many thanks, sir! Just another 7,000 DM or so to go before i can bag myself another commander. The officers seem quite useful although i didn't realise at the time. It was only after the "contract" was up that i missed her! | |

| That's probably worth thinking about. More ships would be handy as i'm gearing myself up for my first raiding run. Would you believe i'm slightly nervous about it?! By the way, what are the chances of developing a moon? Am i correct in saying you have to wait for a debris field to grow big enough? If so, how can you prevent it from being harvested? The idea of a lunar base sounds like the mutt's nuts! | |

| Lol the mutt's nuts would be right. Moons are insanely awesome to have (not that I have had the experience of having one lol). But no you don't wait for a debris field to get large enough. As soon as a debris field is formed from destroyed ships, there is a small chance of a moon appearing. The chance is bigger when there is more debris, but the limit is 20%. I'm not sure how much debris 20% takes but it's a lot. If you don't get a moon as soon as it is formed though, then there is no chance of that debris forming a moon later. When more debris is added, then you get another chance. | |
